Ingredients
1 2⁄3 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1⁄2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons instant espresso powder
1⁄4 cup sugar
1⁄4 cup brown sugar
3⁄4 cup butter (plus 2 tablespoons - softened)
2 eggs
1 cup dark chocolate chips
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350
Mix the flour, baking powder, and salt together, set aside.
Cream the butter and sugar together. Add eggs, one at a time, then the espresso powder.
Incorporate the flour mixture, then fold in the chips.
Spoon the dough onto baking sheets lined with parchment paper.
Bake 10-12 minutes.
Notes
Baking time varies with thickness of cookie. I make then thick, with the large scoop.
You can add in 3/4 cup walnuts as well.
